It’s going to be about another month until the networks unveil their full schedules for the 2009-2010 season, but ABC was nice enough to put a few fears to rest by granting early pick-ups to 12 of its series.

Definitely returning next season are “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” “Supernanny,” “Wife Swap,” “The Bachelor,” “Private Practice,” “Brothers & Sisters,” “Ugly Betty,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” and (no surprises here) “Desperate Housewives,”  “Grey’s Anatomy,” and “Lost.”
